Everything was perfect, the sun was shining, music was playing and Gatorade was giving out free stuff. Plus, who doesn't love dressing up and pegging rival fraternities and sororities with balls? However this perfect day came to a sad end as the cops came and busted it up like they do everything else. A special thanks go to those you who got busted for drinking at the event, but do us a favor; DON'T GET CAUGHT NEXT TIME! PHI DELT WINS CHI-O SAND BLAST While spring break is still a week away the Greek community got a taste of it at Chi-O Sandblast. The sun was shining, people were laying in the sand, and of course there was some good ole volleyball. It was a long and exciting tournament that ended with an exciting finale of GDI’s and Greeks, only to see Phi Delt give the team ‘Bojangles’ a thrashing and win the overall tournament. UNITE PARTY NEARLY SWEEPS SG ELECTIONS Congratulations to the Unite Party for their stunning victory! The Unite Party nearly swept the elections, winning the executive ticket and all but a few senate seats. Jordan Johnson will be taking over as the new Student Government President, Larnell Vickers as the new Vice President and Maryam Laguna as the new Treasurer. More information on the SG elections will be posted soon! THETA DODGEBALL THIS SATURDAY Get ready to duck, dive, and dodge, because it’s that time of year again! As always, its dodge ball hosted by Phi Delta Theta and Kappa Alpha Theta. It takes place at Norman field at around 10 A.M. but don't forget to be up early and put yourself in the proper 'mindset'. It’s sure to be an amazing time. We will be there, will you? SIGMA CHI WINS BEER OLYMPICS On Tuesday, February 17th, eight teams appeared at Bishop's Tavern to see just who was the best at drinking games. Represented by some of best and boldest drinkers of various houses, each house competed in a variety of drinking games including pitcher chugging, quarters, flip cup, and the famous game of beer pong. In the end, Sigma Chi beat out Sigep in a final chug race, winning a $750 bar tab. Not all was lost; Sigep still earned a $500 bar tab and Theta Chi finished in third to earn a $250 bar tab. BEERFEST TONIGHT AT BISHOP'S TAVERN That's right! Come out to Bishop's tonight to see a fraternity battle of epic proportions. Beer pong, flip cup, quarters and chugging are a few of the games, and the winners get their house a free social. Who will dominate in the sport of drinking? MR. THETA CHI AARON CRESPIN WINS AOΠ's Mr. UF  With acts ranging from promiscuous dancing to cinnamon eating, this year’s Mr. UF was quite entertaining. AOΠ's Mr. UF AOΠ's Mr. UF will take place tonight (Tuesday February 10, 2009) at 7:30pm in the Reitz Grand Ballroom.
